By submitting a commission request or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.Please read these terms carefully before purchasing.1. Commission Process1. Customers must submit a commission request form before purchasing.
2. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance.
3. I reserve the right to accept or decline commissions based on availability, complexity, materials, or whether the project is suitable.
4. Once a commission has been accepted, I will provide:
- A final price estimate
- An estimated completion timeframe
- Payment instructions
Work will only begin once payment has been received.2. Pricing and PaymentCommission prices are based on:
- Size of the finished item
- Complexity of the design
- Materials required
- Additional accessories or details
- Estimated time requiredThe quoted price must be agreed upon before work begins.A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission slot and cover initial materials and preparation. Work will begin once the deposit has been received.The remaining 50% balance will be due once the commission is completed and before the item is shipped.Final photos may be provided before shipping, but the completed item will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.Payments are processed through Stripe.3. Handmade Nature of ProductsAll items are handmade and created individually.Small differences may occur between the final product and reference images, including:
- Minor colour differences
- Stitch variations
- Slight differences in shape or proportionsThese differences are part of the handmade nature of crochet and are not considered defects.4. Design ChangesPlease provide accurate references and descriptions before work begins.Changes requested after approval may result in:
- Additional charges
- Longer completion times
- The request being declined if changes are not practicalOnce significant work has started, major design changes may not be possible.5. Reference Images and CopyrightCustomers must only provide references they have permission to use.I do not claim ownership of customer characters or designs.For fan characters or copyrighted characters:
- The customer is responsible for ensuring they have permission to commission the work.
- The finished crochet item is a handmade interpretation and not an official product.6. Turnaround TimesEstimated completion times will be provided before payment.Turnaround times may vary depending on:- Commission queue size
- Material availability
- Complexity of the design
- Unexpected circumstancesI will provide updates if there are significant delays.Please contact me if you have questions about your commission status.7. Progress UpdatesProgress updates may include:- Design confirmation
- Work-in-progress photos
- Completion photosCustomers may request reasonable updates, but frequent requests for progress checks may increase completion times.8. Refunds and CancellationsBecause commissions are custom-made products created specifically for the customer, cancellations and refunds may be limited once work has started.If you need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible.Refund eligibility will depend on:
- Whether work has started
- Materials already purchased
- Time already spent creating the itemIf I am unable to complete a commission, I will contact you and arrange an appropriate solution.This does not affect your legal consumer rights.9. ShippingCustomers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.Shipping costs are paid by the customer unless otherwise stated.Once an item has been shipped:
- Delivery times are controlled by the postal service.
- Tracking information will be provided where available.
- I am not responsible for delays caused by postal services.Please contact me if your order arrives damaged or does not arrive.10. Care InstructionsCrochet items should be treated carefully.Recommended care:
- Keep away from excessive moisture
- Avoid pulling loose threads
- Keep away from pets who may damage the item
- Spot clean where possibleInstructions may vary depending on materials used.11. Usage RightsCustomers may:
- Display their purchased item
- Share photographs of their item
- Use photographs for personal purposesCustomers may not:
- Reproduce my patterns for commercial purposes
